Beaufort County deserves a capable, competent Sheriff.

As your Sheriff, I will focus on the issues that are important to the people of Beaufort County that the present Sheriff continues to ignore.

As your Sheriff:

• I will be accessible to ALL Beaufort County residents!
• I will proudly represent the Office of the Sheriff at the monthly Commissioners Meeting.  No one in my personal life, my military career, or in my law enforcement career has ever called me a coward as Hood called Ernie.  I will not lie to you or be untruthful in court as a Federal Judge says Ernie has been.  If Ernie is untruthful in court, he will continue to be untruthful with you in all matters.
• I will ensure the citizens have a positive experience with my Office in an effort to gain their confidence and trust in our ability to serve all residents with dignity and respect regardless of race, political affiliation or socio-economic status.
• I will work tirelessly to regain the trust of the parents in this county and address security and safety needs for our children at school and at school related events.
• I will work with the School Board to get Deputies back in our schools as School Resource Officers.
• I will work responsibly to balance budget spending with real needs in the Sheriff’s Office to ensure our Deputies are equipped properly when they respond to extraordinary and dangerous calls.
• I will focus on maintaining experienced Deputies.  I will offer a workplace where Deputies can make law enforcement a career.
• I will develop a mentoring program for young Deputies.  This program includes opportunities for continuing education, leadership advancement and community involvement.
